Gun related stuff you do when guns/ammo are in short supply?

I'm walking more. I have started cleaning up my over stocked garage, I found ammo, MRE Boxes, and Causality bags, and a Bomb Proof blanket that was issued to me in 2004.

Bet it's even hard to turn over at night.
Reminds me of the bomb proof desks we had
in elementary school back in early '60s. In
case of nuclear attack get under desk & cover
your head. Must have worked I'm still here.

For now I'm working on my upper body with the manual pump. All honesty it's worth the compressor cost. It's like equal to 200 rounds of 5.56 and the pellets are dirt cheap. It's how I scratch the itch mid-day.

The PCP money pit is only as large as you make it. There are deals out there where you can get a rifle and pump for under $200. I've gone deep into the hole, Scuba tanks and just picked up the Umarex compressor at a 20% discount over the Christmas sale. Been "airgunning" with quality guns since the early 80's. I don't get into the modifications like some do, I just don't have the time. For fun basement time, I picked up one of the Daisy CMP surplus rifles and have several nice air pistols I shoot. For hunting with spring/nitro piston, I go with the .22 RWS 52 and Benji NP Trail. Hunting and plinking with PCPs, I have several .22s, .25s, and.357s..
Farthest one shot kill on a tree rat so far was with the NP at 68 yards. (pure luck) Along with all the powder burning fiasco though, airguns are getting short in supply also. Thank goodness I have 10s of thousands of economical pellets to feed them with.

It's a Military K-9 Bomb-Blanket. I got it when a ODT member and I were stationed together in the MILITARY, I did not know him then but he tried to raid my supply room and could not get in, he was trying to take my Brand New Black Hawk patrol back packs. He came to talk to me about a trade, he was doing his nightly check on my building and suggested a trade he got The Back Pack, I got the Bkanket.

I never thought of that. Does keeping the ammo in a
freezer make it last longer or increase the velocity?
