Guns you just can't warm up to

Desert Eagles
Chiappa Rhino
Glocks in general - they work fine but just not a fan.
ARs in general
Taurus Judge - most Taurus pistols
Kel-tec
Hi-Points

This is just the top ones...

Not a Glock guy. Maybe one day? Not today.

Love the style and power but shooting the CZ52 is not pleasant. Roller lock design with a brutal recoil pulse. Sure wouldn't want to be on the other end of it.

Sub 2K - one day I love it the next day I'm like, meh. Love the concept.

Lots of Glock hate in this thread....

Everyone’s different, but I’d wager to say the Glock 19/23/32 is the most popular handgun in America right now. It’s the perfect size for my hand and perfect size to conceal and carry.

I agree with the OP, I could never warm up to the Judge or any of those 410 capable revolvers. They just look so weird to me.

The G19 is a great gun for me. Every time I shoot my G19's they inspire confidence. I have even tried other guns, tried to get away from Glock. In the end I always come back to it. People can hate all they want, but IMO there is no better handgun for carry, training, duty, defense, general use, etc.

Sigs. I have owned a few and they were good guns, but I have never gotten on with one. They are very uncomfortable for me.

Mossberg. I have experienced multiple failures with multiple Mossberg shotguns, going all the way back to the early 90's. I won't own another, not unless it is acquired for trade fodder.

Several others. My feedback shows that I have been around the firearm world a couple times, and it has been a worthwhile trip(s) to discover what I really do and do not like. I'm pretty settled in these days, so I don't buy/sell/trade as much as I once did. I still dabble a bit, though, and enjoy it as much now as I ever did.

As rebuttal to some of the haters, I do like the Beretta Vertec. It is a reliable pistol and very smooth shooting. I had a 92, but like the slimmer grip on the Vertec, so sold the 92 many years ago. But then again, I put the Vertec for sale...lol. Not sure why? Too many 9mms I guess?

I don't mind Glock. Love my 31. But that is more about the cartridge. It is a tool and it works. Not much in styling though.

I LOVE 1911's and find them to be a viable classic. The really pricey ones are kinda eye candy. The cheaper ones usually get the job done. I have never had an issue with any of my Springfield Armories or Colts.

I have only clones in the roller lock field, but I like them. Notes taken about the 91. It appears to hold onto all that recoil for a split second that let you have it. I usually get a laugh watching video of some skinny African banging away with an G3 and they look like they are never hitting anything.

Roller lock works great in smaller calibers. Love it in 5.56 and 9mm. I think of it as the European answer to AK. More refined, but just as reliable. At least you can't shear a lug on the bolt. :-) My Cetme L is one of my favorite rifles to shoot. a very nice recoil impulse (light).

PCC. So far I’ve gone through 6. 3 of em were AR style, 2 were sub2K and 1 scorpion.now my last one is the AKv9 . I do love the ak 9, shoots great, no problems so far! Eats anything. A little gassy when suppressed, but super fun! Maybe this one will change my mind.

Guns I can't warm up to:

1- Any single-shot rifle or shotgun, except a youth size 22 rimfire for training kids they will be the next generation of gun owners who will have to keep the Second Amendment alive.

2-- All the Colt 1873 Peacemaker cowboy style revolvers, the Italian-made copies of them, and the Ruger Single Six and Blackhawk that have that same style of grip and frame. It just doesn't fit my hand well.
(I don't mind the act of thumb-cocking a revolver and shooting in single action. I do that with my Smith & Wesson and modern Colt revolvers all the time. And I don't dislike the peacemaker type cowboy guns because if their slow loading and unloading of the cartridges --that's OK by me.)

3- Short barreled, Full sized revolvers with a medium to large frame.
If you're going to give me a big frame and a large grip, I want at least a 3 inch barrel, not a 1 and 7/8 inch snubby barrel.
