Gussied Up 10/22 vs. Ruger Precision Rimfire vs. "Whatcha got?"

Do you need to break-in a .22 barrel?

I'm guessing not, and don't want to open up another can of worms, but inquiring minds want to know!
Kidd says 50 rounds for theirs and it's ready to go. They also warn against cleaning it too frequently... Only after every 500 rounds or so. For me, that's about every other day! :D

Just rescoped my RAR Target with a spare Nikon I had on the shelf. Sight in tomorrow :)

If any of y'all are like me I have just accepted bad triggers over the years. No More...

With the BX triggers for 10/22's, the fully adjustable triggers standard on many rifles (like the Ruger Precision Rimfire), and the aftermarket accessories there is no need to settle. AND your groups will shrink quickly.
Looking forward to hearing the feedback.

I added a few goodies to the RPR. Took it to the range and shot it again. I'm starting to love this thing, but it still can't beat the Gussied Up 10/22, in my opinion. I do have to say that the magazine that came with the gun (BX-15) is terrible. It won't let the rounds come out smoothly. I'm calling Ruger today.

I even tweaked the trigger pull, as you can see. I might see if it will go down a little more.

Oh, and just FYI, the KIDD aluminum .870 muzzle brake is exactly the same diameter as the barrel on this rifle. It fits perfectly with no ridge.

Needless to say, our 87-year old Dad is loving both of them, too!
