Gutter adhesive for roof shingle repair

Thanks for the education! In my 30 plus years of commercial construction I’ve never built a building that utilized asphalt shingles. Either metal, membrane or built up system. Some residential practices are strange to me.

I’ve been diving into the TPO/PVC roofs and coatings for about a year now. Trying to learn more about them myself to close some bigger projects. Residential is nice but the volume is very tiresome compared to the potential commissions on commercial jobs.

In the past… TPO for me was a better option than PVC because of cost, availability and virtually trouble free if installed correctly. Not sure how PVC is now but it had issues with shrinkage that would cause leaks and have to be addressed. They call them 20 year roofs but most all had some issues after 8-10 years…the difference ( I would think ) from commercial to residential is the amount of sq ftg installed per day

Yeah the whole process is different on my end like the way we gather info, quote, deliver, and install. TPO is still the best option outside of a coating. Coatings are 100% tax deductible and can come with a 10-20yr ndl as well. Easier sell there, but there’s mainly TPO here. Ga is a pretty mild climate other than the occasional severe weather outbreak.

I’m a roofer and NP1 would be the product I would use under loose shingles. Gutter sealant would be a geocel product.
