Subscribed for info. I've heard about these radios before... but I read they are banned in the US now, or that certain frequencies they can transmit on are banned? Something like that.

Mine are great. I'm a Tech plus ham.
I've programmed FRS channels as well as ham. Frs is 462 mhz range and these radios can do it.
Yeah see all of the above, program them and go. CHIRP does it with a cable.
