I'm wishing John Moses Browning a happy birthday today. He is an icon in the Gun industry and after a bit of research I was surprised to see more than a few of his designs in my safe.
Lever action Winchester, Colt Woodsman, Ithaca model 37, 1911's and Hi-Power's bear his design foresight and gun making skills.
Utah made the 1911 their state gun in honor of Mr. Browning.
