Happy 308 Day, and a new record!

Pretty cool, but this honestly seems like an attainable record, no?
It's 1/2 MOA. 1 MOA @ 1K is pretty common now days. The 18 of 20 is the hardest part, not sure if there is a time limit on that.
A calm day, good reloads, an 80x scope, bench and rear bag, I think this one is worth giving a shot if you have a .308 laying around with a barrel of decent length.
If not easily attainable, at least it's easily accessible to give it a shot.
(there may be some equipment limitations I am not aware of)
Its mostly the Indian. Check out Texas plinking 1 moa at 1000 yards challenge. There are guys out there with 15k rigs that can't hit a 1 moa steel at 1000. Then a kid comes out there with a Mosin and a 10x scope and drills it.

Something else that matters is home range practice. It's easy to go out and shoot where you always shoot and be successful.

I love watching those videos.... That dude with the Mosin was impressive.
