Check the battery power when the starter button is pushed. Sometimes a battery will have voltage to power all the leds, but not enough to engage the relays.
I just found a neutral safety switch was grounding out my system. Ruined a new lithium battery and wouldn’t engage the relay.
Update:
Battery was charged last night and I tried it out a few minutes ago. Nothing has changed, although I do hear a (not a click, but a single whirring sound) sound coming from the starter/solenoid.
Sounds like the starter clutch is shot.
I had that go bad on my 07 Sportster last year. Bike had about 17k miles on it at the time.
When I hit the starter switch I could hear the starter spin, but it would not engage the engine.
