Has anyone gotten photos or seen bucks with noticeable antler growth this early?

I have had a couple on camera with 2” or so growth. However yesterday I was talking with my cousin and his son who manage a large area. They have seen bucks with 6” high or thereabouts racks as early as the past few weeks. They do spend a fortune on food plots and feeders etc.

2 nubbins is all I have seen on the cam.

I pulled my cams last week in Macon county there were a couple with 2-3 inch nubs I usually don’t put them back out until first of August

I am keeping them out year round. It’s like fishing , I need to have poles out and hooks in the water . Maybe it’s ADD for me.

We have some with 6"-8", velvet growth, we do keep clover growing year round, expensive yes however it's great to see the yearlings to the big guys also, and the doe with fawns, sorta gratifying to say the least...

Haven’t seen anything growth yet in south west Floyd county but it’s been about 2wks since I’ve checked camera. I will out there this weekend so I will pull cards again and see.

3 bucks on cam the past week together,all with about 3" of growth,1 doe that looks like she is about to explode,hoping she will bring the fawn to the feed.A lone coyote at 11 am one day

Yep, we have pictures of bucks with nubs. Oddly enough though, we still had some bucks with horns until April 10th.

That is odd (haven’t shed) or at least odd to me.

I never (have never) found sheds the goal for spring 2020 is to find a bunch.
