Dogs are family, only 5 years is heart breaking! Replace that onewith a rescue dog, you'll make the dogs life and yours much better. Sorry for the loss of your family member

Going to have some free pups in around 3 1/2 months found a boxer in with my akc registered yellow lab. Had no idea she was in heat until then lol :-(. We thought he was going to stick around, but he disappeared yesterday just as easy as he appeared.

I know how that feels, my dad had two slick haired pointers that he hand raised early out of the litter. They both died the same day, the only time I ever saw the "Ole man" cry. They were two terrific dogs as well, was a pleasure to hunt over them and just to watch them work.............beauty in motion.

Lost my best pal not too long ago, I know how you feel, my girl dog had more heart and trust than most people I know, give your self some time and get another one to fill that empty spot your feeling. Worked for me. Good luck.

That sounds like an interesting mix.

Yeah we are interested to see what they look like lol. Dang dog is back lol I guess he just comes and goes as he pleases it can jump a fence like no one business. Smart but kinda weird in the same way. My lab almost breaks her neck to fetch a ball. Where this guy just looks at you and doesn't know what to do. Must not have been played with much. I know that thats what labs are bread for, but still never seen a dog that doesn't want to fetch lol.
