Help Aging This Deer

I keep getting mixed reviews from my buddies on this bucks age. Any opinions from others would be appreciated.

I'm from Brooklyn, how do you age a deer?

3.5 - may be 4.5 - Got a helluva neck. Not much on width or pot belly though

Putnam county. He is the most muscular deer ive ever had on cam but his face looks young and his rack size throws me off. My buddies either think hes so old he is on the decline or he has a big body for a 3.5 to 4.5 yr old.

Alot of factors go into rack size. It's a fairly bad predictor of age. The reason I said 5.5 is because of the good dip in his spine and his overall thickness. That rack could easily be a 5.5 year old rack. Its got decent mass. It would score about the same as a 6.5 I have hanging on the wall.

Belly hasn't started drooping and rack is not too wide. I bet he is younger than we think. But I am not very good at aging.
