I just got a sackfull of assorted brass from a relative and sorted them all out but don't know what this one is. It seems to be real close to a .30 cal something but he said he never had anything in a .30 cal. and can't remember himself what it was. I know years ago he had a russian Mosin-Nagant but don't know if these may have gone with it. I remember it had a steel plate on the butt and kicked like a mule.
I stood it up in the picture between a 30-30 on the far right and a 30-06 next to it. Then theres a Brit 303 on the left which it's just a little shorter than this case but the 303 is a larger round than this holds. In the other picture the headstamp on all these has a 10 and I think the other number is 55 but may be 33, 53 or 35. Kind of hard to read. So I know some of you guys will know exactly what I have here. Thanks.
