Hello. I basically want to know more about this revolver.
Functionally it is great. The lock up is very tight and zero cylinder wiggle when hammer is recessed.

From my understandings I know it’s a very very early run.
Pinned and recessed.
Belt and holster are SW Branded

One of the best LEO duty revolvers of the 1970's.
Mine's a 66-2 with a 6" barrel. Dash-2 means no recessed chambers in the cylinder, and my variation came out in the early 1980's.

I like the look of your target stocks. I need to get a pair of those one day.

Price? About $800 would be my guess. There's definitely some collector's value in there, above and beyond what it's worth just as a shooter.

From my research I did assume it was early 1970’s. I haven’t seen any Exactly like mine just yet. I’m amazed by the quality of this thing. It locks up super crisp and tight
