Rifle is a Browning BAR Mark II Safari. The socket head cap screws in the scope base are rounded out pretty heavily. Based on the scope cap screws I removed, I don't expect them to be overly tight or have any threadlocker on them but it was my dad's rifle so I am being overly cautious with it. What method would be best to get them out? Screw extractor, impact driver, MAC RBRT sockets? Appreciate any help guys.

Since they already have a hole drilled per say, being socket head screws, I would definitely try screw extractor first.
Remember you can grind down the tip of extractor to appropriate size if needed, for maximum bite.
Good luck!

What everyone has already said. Kroil soak, heat, tapped in torx bit....extra taps help after heat and before attempting to turn. Don't skip any steps. What you want to avoid at all costs is snapping the head off. That's a great way to turn a 10 min job into a 2 day job.
