Hey y’all, I’m new to north ga WMAs been hunting a WMA in south ga the past few years where it was only sign-in. Trying to understand the regulations. Like for McGraw Ford how do you read this. Is this a quota only WMA for deer archery or does that only apply the where the Q is further down the list?

Too
Many azz hats will ruin your hunt at McGraw .
Gotta love the clowns that come out of the woods early, crank up their truck radio real loud and have booming conversations to talk to each other over the radio while scaring all the deer away within a half mile radius.
And the guys hunting squirrels with .22’s shooting the place up …..after they see you in a tree.
Had enough of that damned place.

Also, be sure that during archery season, the deer killed will be recorded on your harvest record and will count towards your limit. Those type hunts are sign-in.
If it’s a check-in hunt, denoted by a “C”, they will put a State tag on your deer and they don’t count towards your limit. Not many WMA’s offer quota archery hunts.

Don’t know why the redundancy if you have game check.
