Help!!! Recently purchased a Bushnell rimfire 3-12x40 to install on a cz 455 varmint in 17 Hmr. Did what the manual said to do when sighting in for 17. Sight in at 25 yards and then install the 17 hmr turret on 25 yards.
I am using the CCI 17 grain tnt, as it’s listed in the ammo that will work for the 17 hmr turret. It’s dead on at 25 yards set on the 25 yard mark. As soon as I go to 50 or 75 and adjust accordingly it shoots way high. Can anyone tell me what’s going on?
I understand the whole thing with the BDC Turrets being unreliable, but every review on the internet never has this problem. All work well.
I’ve used several different types of ammo listed in the manual. All do the same. Thanks
