Help with firearm auction facts

A lady my dad knows husband died, and the man who picked up some stuff she was giving away runs a gun auction about once a month. I was wondering if anyone knew what the percentage the owner of the firearms gets typically? As my dad could get them at hopefully a decent price to make some extra cash. But, it needs to fair in comparison to what she would get via the auction for her to go for it. Thanks for the help

I think the buyers premium is set at better more established locations and it’s on top of hammer price
