Here we go: 9mm vs. .45 ACP

It doesn't matter which you carry, its all about shot placement! Im sure that has already been said but I personally carry a 9mm. Do I like .45, of course I do, but again whether it be a 9mm, 45acp, .357 mag, etc its all about what your comfortable with and its ALL about shot placement. As OS said in the beginning of this, I too like the fact that its cheaper to shoot 9mm and IF a BO or SHTF situation ever occurred I personally believe it would be easier to my hands on 9mm than .45 I mean where have we all been where they DIDNT sell 9mm cause ive been to Wally World several times and them be out of 45 when I needed it. Just my .02

That is the easiest....both. They both have their ups and downs there is no perfect round or we would all be agreed upon it.

That said. Use what you like. I do think that with 9mm you have to be more selective of bullet type and speed than with 45. All the studies where police are going back to 9mm. It is high velocity/+P and fancy hollow points. In a FMJ comparison I would say 45 hands down. But I like 40 SW so what do I know.
