It's not a factory HK but at least it's an SBR... maybe... ?

I'd say it parties
Is that the one I let go ?SP5K-PDW Sbr suppressed. This thing is lights out. I think I want another one. Even with irons it's crazy accurate.
It sure is. Fantastic shooter. Is that the one I let go ?
Nice! Finally home. Awesome awesomeGot approved on the MP5 last week and took her home. Here she is. It dethrones the Micro as my new favorite SMG that I own. It's a Billistics Double Pushpin, but interestingly it is papered as an HK, which should not be the case post 1968. It came in as a foreign (HK) manufacturer on the Form-3, so I left it HK rather than correct it to Billistics. I was expecting the ATF to deny the transfer due to that, but it went through as an HK. That is the first time I've seen that in my 20+years dealing with MGs.

Thanks man! I've been wanting one ever since 1996 (7th grade), when I shot an identical one with my friends dad who was on the SWAT team. For the next year or two, you could not talk to me for 5min with me telling you about shooting the MP5. Even if you already heard the story 5x before lol.Nice! Finally home. Awesome awesome
Heck yeah haha! I believe I would've been ruined if I had a chance to run one at that age. That's around the age that I was burning a lot of ammo through various 1911s and I got my first exposure to a suppressed Mark 23 at West Point WMA. Impressions from that era have stuck with me for decades, crafting me into the "young fudd" that I am with my fondness of 45 Auto and 1911s.Thanks man! Nice! Super jealous! I'm betting the reason the form went right on through is because the name and s/n on your form 4 matched what was on the previous form(s). I've seen forms denied over info that didn't match ( a Mk18 factory sbr, form 3 was correct with ddm4 model, form 4 was listed as mk18 and denied.)Got approved on the MP5 last week and took her home. Thank you Sir. Yeah, I completely agree. I got it from an estate sale, meaning the original 1985 owner of this gun passed away. The person handling the estate probably had no clue on NFA and wrote HK Germany as the Manufacturer on the Form-5. Since the gun never transferred since 1985, I doubt they had complete records of it from 37years ago. So then it transferred from an out of state dealer to my dealer on a Form-3 as an HK. At that point, we weren't about to be the squeaky wheel and correct ATF. Submitted it as an HK and low and behold they approved it. I was half expecting them to decline it since a few years earlier, they declined my AK-47 MG since I wrote the model number as AK47, leaving out the dash. If they're going to Nazis about a dash, then surely I thought they would shiP a brick if they saw a foreign manufacturer. After all, they enacted the gun control act of 1968 just for that. They never created an act of including or omitting dashes... So yeah, I agree with you that they probably just check to see if the paper trail matches.Nice! Super jealous!
