Not allowed in my hood either. Does your truck not fit in the garage? That would be the easy solution. Another thing you can do, if you really want to piss her off (and, trust me, you do) is to find out if the HOA owns the streets. It's highly unlikely since it means the HOA is responsible for upkeep and repairs. So its likely the county owns them. That means if you park on the street, there is nothing the HOA can do.
We have a guy in here who own six vehicles and only one is parked in the garage (his bike). Granted, they are all nice cars, but there are at least two on the street every single day and neighbors complains about him. I don't really care because he's a cool Asian dude that likes guns, bikes, and Beamers so we get along. Anyhow, he has been getting notices for years and has yet to recieve one fine. The HOA Prez lives next door to me and explained that since the county owns the streets, we cant really enforce fines even though they violate the covenants. Thought that was interesting. But people have recived fines and even liens for not fixing a gd crooked shutter. Never again for me.
