There are reports surfacing on Facebook that Silencerco laid off up to 80% of its workforce today! Anyone else seeing this?

Looks like the post 41F slump has hit them hard.

We are probably approaching the point where everyone that's willing to go through all the bull**** to get a silencer already has two.

NFA will never go mainstream until the extra paperwork and long wait times go away.

hopefully it's like when my grandfather was laid off. the union got him his old job after business picked up, he wasn't one to lay around lazy so he joined the marines during the lay-off

I don't have high hopes for HPA passing. And I hope I'm proved dead wrong. But the pre-41F rush killed sales after June because everyone went into overdrive before the new regs went into effect.

That, combined with the additional headaches required now AND this pipedream called HPA, has all but shut down the suppressor industry. There are a ton of folks sitting on the sideline, hoping it will pass.
