Home internet / WiFi hotspots - 4G Community

I downloaded Battlefield on my Xbox One last night which was 46gb or something like that.

My son downloaded Battlefield----it took him two days on our dsl.

I ordered from 4gcommunity last Friday. I went with the 3 month premium membership. I hope we get good enough Sprint signal. 15 Mps would be great, we would be extremely happy with that.

Our unit has shipped, but no estimate on the delivery yet.

I'd also try moving the antenna around the house
You may find a spot that has more bars

Sounds like a good option. Even for those of us in the 'burbs with a cable modem
We have charter and the problem with them is they want $85 for the Internet and $100 for the Internet and 300 channels

Now You can watch just about any show on the Internet don't need or want 300 Channels but if you want just Internet they won t discount the price

Windstream sucks and they are the only provider where I live.

Our internet goes down a lot and we have to call them especially on the weekends then all of the sudden after we call our internet comes back up.

I think they shut connections off and only turn them on when you call.
They act like you have a problem on your end and try every trick in the book to lie to you when you know all they do is press a few buttons and your service magically reappears every time you call them.

It's sad because you know they are lying on the phone to you and they know that you know that after so many calls.

It got to the point where I call and they know me by name and I just say...."Hey it's me....press your magic button so my internet will come back on...thanks." Then I hang up.

Frustrating.

So far I'm at 143.3gb downloaded and no obvious slowdown in speed. Played a little online last night while download was going in the background and game play was fine. Speeds are fluctuating a little which I assume is to be expected especially using a cell phone signal. Average speeds running 8-15 Mbps with some higher burst occasionally. Mid 30s ping. Still faster and cheaper then Windstream.

I went with the basic package not the premium. From I could tell the difference is the premium you get a different hotspot that can use all the sprint signals 3G,4G,LTE and the basic hotspot only pulls LTE. My only theory on that (besides price difference) was that if it wasn't LTE speed anyway it wouldn't be fast enough for what I wanted. Plus side to either one is its a hotspot and they're also battery operated so you're not limited to home only.
