All insurance is on the up. I've stuck with state farm as on the couple of occasions I've made a claim, over the last 20+ years, they've never quibbled, and processed the claim quickly.

Home Owners Insurance cost? I have Farm Bureau and it went from $1996 last year to $2600 this year.

The cost of repairs and new construction after Covid is off the charts .
I left farm bureau after 20 years. That was five or six years ago. They got bought out by progressive.
Shop around or have a local independent agent do it would be my suggestion.

I have State Farm. Homeowner's insurance and Hazard insurance (I didn't even know that was a thing I was paying for) both went up, causing a projected escrow shortage. So my overall payment went up $160.
I had to pay a $190 fee for them to come out and do a market analysis on my house, this allowed them to calculate my loan balance was under 80% of the value of the house. So then I was able to drop PMI, so that saves me $80/month.
Better than nothing.
