I stopped to chat with a fellow hunter today,on Pinelog WMA.During the conversation,he told me that he had just driven up on some people on horses who were traveling at a slow walk. These folks blocked the road (man and two kids)for a while, then moved to the right. The driver proceeded to creep by,thinking they wanted him to pass. Then the adult blocked the road, started waving his arms and calling the driver an a--hole.Later on I ran up on these same folks.Same story.Old man blocked the road and they plodded along so slow that my speedometer never registered. This went on until we exited the gate.First time I`ve ever had a problem with horse folks.I`ve ridden some, and have no problem moving over, stopping,or whatever.I was AGAINST making these folks pay to use the WMA,as ,the way it was,us hunters payed, and had the say-so.Is this the beginning of the takeover by non-hunters?Maybe this was hunter-harrassment?Never saw a DNR person today,or I woulda reported this little rant.Yep,I coulda made those horses run,but there were two kids on them.

I think the guy was just trying to keep the horses the kids were on under control. Well that is what it sounds like kinda. Now with that said why would you put a kid on a horse that is not older and broke to death. Either way it pi$$e$ me off to.

Nah,can`t hurt the horses,nor the kids.Maybe the horse`s a--on the 3rd horse.Also,in road rage contests,ALL the participants go to jail.Misuse of a firearm(reckless conduct),no more concealed license.Ain`t worth it.

I've driven up on about 50-60 horses up near Cohutta mnt. Every one of the riders were very nice. I even had one guy ask me if I wanted to race. I was driving about 5 mph to keep the dust down for them.
