I will say one thing about being a Dawgs fan. I follow them, like them, pull for them, BUT WOULD NEVER BET ON THEM. You never know for certain which team will show up...Natl Champs or the JV squad. This still looks like the case today.

Pretty sure most NASCAR fans never sat their ass in a race car, either. Same with any pro sport, and yet, folks still cheer for their faves. Crazy, huh?I think for most people, it's where they went to college or maybe where their kids go.
See some folks that I think, just want to be part of the "group" discussion and take part in the rivalries so they just pick a big winning program. For most that would be the local team, but maybe they pick one out of state just to be different.
I bet most on here that are big cheerleaders, didn't actually attend and graduate from the college their cheer for so hard for each week. Now that part I don't understand.
