A local store here in FL is selling bricks of .22 500rds for $500.00

Went to the gun show this morning in Jacksonville FL and never left the truck. Traffic getting in was crazy and about 500 people in line to get in. This was 40 minutes after they opened at 0900.

Just nuts!

well, would ya expect me to sell my Ga arms 556 on stripper clips, I bought in 80's for $10 a hundred, like now, I don't think so, maybe $70 a hundred, a mere 7x, so cause I thought ahead means those that didn't gonna pay for my forethought.

I call it replacement value. I used to subscribe to the “why are they charging so much for ammo” way of thinking. Theres no ammo anywhere so replacement value is sky high.
