How do you aim handgun ?

besides the answers you just got, here are some variables.

1. Distance= The closer/further you are will result in where your sights are (closer usually will be covered as farther will be higher)

2. Sight post height= If you have Glock sights, they are closer to the frame compared to Kimber or other sights. Think AR15 front post sight vs Mini 14, one is taller so at closer range, you will have to raise your rifle while the other calls for less adjustment.

3. Barell Lenth and Grooves

I would start at 5yrds and shoot 3yrds at High, Center and Low (12,0,6) and see where your gun is at and then you will where your sights should be at other distances
