how do you feel about what you do for a living?

I absolutely love my job! I work for a good company and my coworkers are great. We have SO much fun at work. I almost feel bad to laugh so much and to still get paid. Even the management is cool. I look forward to going to work everyday.

I had/have a career, I am a Home builder, been doing it for 22 years. Worked for big builders for years then started my own custom home business and did very well. Was all set to retire comfortably in about 5 years then 2008 happened and stole everything from us. Been a long hard road starting over at 50 but were back. Now working for a top player in the industry building custom homes, I have little hope for retirement

Career for 20 years with a short break; building my vocation on the side for the last five. I really enjoy what I do, but sans relocation my options are limited for the long term. So, build now for the future!

Mine started as a job of auto tech when in high school and college. It was a necessary evil at the time. Then came family and that turned into.my full time job. Left the dealership grind for.4 years for sales in a wire and cable company. After 4 years of that, i rezlized i didn't like it even though I was VERY good at it. I was going to go back to the dealership when I got the opportunity to be a mechanic in a utility company fleet. Spent 9.5 years on the floor before beimg promoted to management. Basically I turned a hobby, vocation, and job into a career. I really enjoy the company and the pay and benefits are really good however I do put in a lot of long hours at the sacrifice of my wife and kids and try to spend every weekend moment with them. It does put other hobbies aside however I know that I can at least look forward to retirement around 55.
