How educated are you?

BA,MBA and a few certs . What I learned is most of the crap I acquired with my 70k education is not even relevant to life. I actually didn't make it through HS and wasn't ready for college until I was a dad in my late 20's . If I had to choose to which will serve me better between my street smarts / life smarts or my degrees. I would say the street and life smarts are the most important and all the degrees say is I was committed enough to finish what I started but it does not make me smarter than anyone else.

Pretty much true. A college degree just shows committment. 90% of the crap I learned is useless. You don't need a degree to do a lot of things, but it sure as hell opens doors that otherwise would have been shut and locked.

I went to Kennesaw State, couldn't find parking, said screw it, and got a job at a steel mill instead. Best decision ever!

I have an Associates from a community college back home. I have 45 credit hours remaining on my B.A. in Safety Management, but I'm switching majors to Emergency Management since I have a CCAF Associates in Emergency Management. I also want to go to a trade school and learn Welding.
