Can't say that, myself. I'm sure not rich, but I put both of mine thru college, and neither owed a cent when they got their degrees. (well, not till they got their advanced degrees; they had to pay for them)

Well you helped them out. Which is great. Not everybody has that benefit was my point.
Same here our senior year in highschool they made us apply to atleast one college/tech school so me bein a smartass I applied to one of the most expensive ones which was Mercer and was actually accepted and at that time it was private so no hope for hope money haha

Finished HS,just missed being drafted to 'nam, then joined the USN for a six year degree. Started college four times but never finished. A tech school course in welding which I did finish (and one semester early) and a lot of hard work has supported me and my family since.

Shorter grad here. And, it only took 30 years from start to finish.
Yeah, I agree with you. I like to say I worked my way thru college...for 2. Sad that a lot go to college today for 7 yrs. to get degrees that are virtually worthless in the real world.
