Quick question for you guys, but what kind of price per round does the Yugo "sniper" 8mm Mauser ammo go for currently?

I should clarify that I'm considering posting a WTB come my next paycheck for some of this ammo, and was thinking maybe 500 or so rounds

It is nice. Any Yugo ammo is desirable as the projectile is very nice indeed. I've pulled down many hundreds, reserved the power and neck sized the brass (for a rainy day) and reloaded them for my G43.

There is a reason that they replaced them. I have a couple of Garands and only have 1 w lockbars.

Do it if you want, they are more authentic.

The lockbars would loosen in combat conditions and the rear sight fall apart. Remember they were developed pre war so not extensively tested under battlefield conditions.

Thanks man! Most of what i had read centered around how it takes a few seconds longer to adjust them so comp shooters didnt like them. Not sure i'll ever shoot in combat conditions......i may try a set just for giggles
