How is the milsurp market these days?

Here's a quote from the article after referencing the expected purchase price: "In other words, the CMP just turned back the clock on G.I. M1911A1 prices by more than a decade."

If I read the article correctly, most of the 1911A1's went through the rebuild program and have been stamped "ANAD". What effect on value do you guys think the release of these 1911A1s will have on non-arsenal marked / as originally issued 1911A1s?

Good point. I wish I had my wife's grandfather's 1911A1. It went with him from Iceland during the war to Japan after the war and then back home to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin where my wife's grandmother gave it away to the next door neighbor years later :( . My father in law likes to tell that story.
 
Boy oh boy...new Criterion Barrels are a joy to clean. Easy Peasy. Wow. I have had some GI Garand Barrels that seemed like they would never get clean. Ever. CBI barrels clean up great.
