How is the milsurp market these days?

Milsurps seem to be few and far between here in mid GA. I did score an awesome 1919 serial dated Colt 1911 from my LGS. Now the only US surplus gun I lack that I can afford is an M1917. It will take a while to save up to add a Johnson rifle to my collection. Need to look into some of the shotguns as well but never have read on up on any of them. Mosin's have been having stupid high asking prices for the most common of variants. I'm lacking a few variants that I would like to add if the prices are right. I hate dry spells on milsurps. A Swedish Mauser has been on my list for several years but I haven't had a good one pop up close enough to me to inspect. My eyes are always open though...
Pics of my latest addition. I had to have it because it had the US property markings as well as US Army. One grip is wood while the other is plastic so I'm going to start looking for a proper set of surplus grips for it. Very excited about this pistol. Didn't think I would ever come across one like this for what it cost.

Me either so that's why when I saw it I said shut up and take my money! It was a must have if the price was reasonable and it was. Now I need to come up with more cash for when I find another milsurp that needs to be added to my collection.
