How long should a quality pair of Hunting boots last?

Just bought my first pair of Miendle hiking boots. The salesperson swore by them.
I dont know, I hunt in my workboots. Go through about a pair a year.
I used to swear by Rockys. The first pair I bought lasted forever. Then I bought a pair of 1000 gram Rockys to go ice fishing so I wore them very little. The soles come apart. When I took them to the local shoe cobbler he had another pair doing the same thing. The last pair I bought were Under Armor we will see.
I've owned Rocky, Danner, Red Head, Irish Setter, you name it. Sadly ,They all seem now no to last much over 2 yrs. Just bought a new pair of Danners a few days ago.
Cabela's in Acworth GA came thru big time today! They swapped me out for a brand new pair, no questions, no haggles!!!!!
I have a $30 pair of brown rubber boots that came from Wally word that I have used for 8+ years and they are still holding up like brand new. I love them cause they have a soft sole and I can slip through the woods pretty quite in them. I hunt 2-3 times a week in them till it turns cold then I switch over to Muck boots.
