How much is lowball?

I just saw an ad where the seller writes that they will not respond to lowball offers. At what point does an offer become a lowball offer?

this, I mean, most of us are very aware of the firearms market and the value so usually if someone says will not respond to lowball offers, he's probably asking something retarded.

I don't consider people on the ODT as strangers for the most part. I try to treat every one like I would treat my family. YMMV.

I have seen items that I would really like to own but they are priced 25 percent over what can buy new. Hesitate to make an offer as it would be considered "lowball". I agree, lowball is difficult to define.
