How often do you reach for your nightstand gun?

Wife's digital scale beeps 3 times when it is used.

Door open alert from alarm system makes 3 beeps when any one of out 7 exterior doors is opened....

Laying in bed at 3 AM we hear the beeps....

Can't tell you how many times I swept the house before putting one and one together....happens whenever our larger cat, nicknamed ****head, walks over the scale.

Think get rid of that.I got squeaky floors and couple dogs in house plus cameras around house so iam ok

Had a rollup garage door spring break one night and it sounded like someone was kicking in the door from the garage to the kitchen. Grabbed the 870, told the wife to grab her pistol and get in the bathroom then very slowly cleared inside and outside. Glad I don’t have bladder or sphincter issues.

When we lived in Ft Valley in the old Forestry Office my wife went to a local LDS Church. So around early December of 2014 she was getting out of the shower and walked into the front room which served as our bedroom and hollered out "There's somebody on the front porch!" So I grabbed the Makarov from the sock drawer and the old Maglight and headed out the kitchen door on the side of the place. All I saw was taillights headed down our long ass driveway. Then I saw two big boxes on the front porch. By then she was out there beside me and worried as hell about them boxes. So I cut them open to see what was there . As I recall one was all candy and baked goods and the other was a big ass frozen turkey. Eventually we found a card telling us who left them.
So I'm looking at her going " Damn ! You almost had me throwing down on some damn Mormons ! How I'ma look pointing guns at folks THAT damn friendly?!"

Had this happen once as well at the old house. Winter/summer thermal cycling does that to springs apparently.

2x at this house I've cleared the back porch. The back yard is fenced and gated but I've heard knocking on the back windows plain as day. I don't have any trees or shrubbery touching the back of the house so I don't know what it could have been, our cats were in bed with us so it wasn't them. I never saw anything tho.

Just fire 3 rounds at the noise and it usually stops.If not empty the mag. if he in dere he aint happy
