Same here. Have seen a lot of deer, and have let some nice bucks walk, that need another year.

Yea I have seen a ton I think 135 out of stand since season started 3 nice 8 pts just 120 ish got a couple 10s getting pics every night just haven’t crossed paths. After the rut I will start smashing the does.biologist said we need to kill 80. You no that ain’t gonna happen when you start popping them they get weary.i will kill this old warrior if I see him.

Sorry , no that’s our number one rule between the 5 landowners.we have stuck with it for 31 years this season.

So how has your season been so far? I hadn't seen any bucks that weren't spikes or fork horns up until Wednesday. I was able to cut out of work early and headed for my hunting property. Instead of hunting the few spots I've tried on the property so far this year I decided to try another hardwood bottom that I had noticed good sign in previously. I hung a tree lounge and ran climbing sticks up to it at 4:30 and at 5:55 this guy came from a few years old clearcut behind me. The X marks where he was standing when he locked up and tried to start winding me.
