This is the year of the tree rats. I don't recall seeing so many as we have this year.
Maybe they know something that we don't know and they are preparing for the species to have a better chance of survival.

Went to the cabin today with my son and requisite vermin dispatchers but didn't even take them out of the cases. At home they've stripped my pear tree clean after I decided this year we'd finally do some canning. Perhaps it's time for payback...

I have a couple fox squirrels coming to my Moultrie ProLock feeder that I need to put the hurt on. Got pics of them destroying the lid and rim of the hopper by chewing holes in them! Never seen anything like it before. One hole was almost big enough for them to crawl in. Got a price for a new lid, but I'll probably put a stop to the problem before I order one..........
