How else do 'handling marks' occur?
I have guns I've handled countless times and there's not a mark on them. Maybe I'm not doing it right? Conversely I have one that was brand new, unfired, and when removing an adjoining gun from the safe I knocked the other new one over causing a scuff on the stock. It's not a 'handling' mark though, it's an idiot mark.
