I've had similar dreams except that I bought a Dodge and had like 5 years to pay for it. I was worried about what to do for the last 3 of those years.

I had a multi-layered dream once when I was about 12 years old. On the top layer, the 40mm grenade launcher on my M-16 was jammed. On the lowest layer, I was fighting a gigantic Gizmo in space by creating a warp field. Another layer of that world looked like Pandora in Avatar. Weird dream and like a lot of my dreams at the time, I could move between layers as they did in inception. I can remember the dream well even it has been more than 25 years.

Ever dreamed of your gun failing when you needed it the most? Kind of like dreams when your teeth are falling out, or falling or dying. Sleep well my friend. Try staying up while falling asleep, if you know what I mean.

If im hearing you correct, you spent some time in combat lately and it's sort of sticking in your mind. These kind of dreams are as real as the combat itself from a psychological standpoint. What could be worse than having your weapon fail you while in the middle of a firefight. And to be called on to keep post in the middle of the night while youre completely exhauseted is hell on earth. Hope your dreams go away for you.
