It started out I was trying to get rid of a sum Mill markings and since it was apart, if you know me you probably know the rest of the story...
Not quite done yet I'm just at the hand finish stages but if you're interested to stay in tune for the progress.

Thanks!

Hey it's coming along and it wasn't just a external polishing I'm doing oh, there's some things with the rough finished areas as well as the magazine release that is kind of tough on a left-handed person I'm addressing.

Okay here it is after the first machine pass with a fine cotton buffing wheel. This is where you start seeing the imperfections...

If you look real close late one of my complaints was about the mag release and I am going to pull this back out and round It Off recessing it a little bit more...

The mag release is supposed to be super simple to get out, but in this case that's a negatory... had the whole thing soaked in Kroll for over a week and even took a little heat to it and the darn thing would not budge.

Coming along nicely for $179 investment...

I took care of the trigger issues and sear prior to the frame polish...

I made a pass on the slide it's been sitting around for a while and I can see by the photos it needs a little bit more hand work.

It is buttery smooth right now, getting rid of those Mill marks made this like no other I've ever handled.

Back on it again tomorrow even for a little while and everyone be safe going back to work and those of you who have already been working wait till you see what traffic is going to be like!

In a couple more days I'll be mounting custom cut and checkered Rosewood grips with some custom Torx star cut screws.

Enough time to get the barrel done the first fit and all the other little goodies...

Thanks for your motivation it may not be much but it's all I got.
