Never owned one of those but if he's in Brackish water I can see it. The problem with the carolina skiffs is they soak water into the under deck you can't get out.

I’ve been fortunate to own several boats of different types, both for fresh water and salt water. The best boat of all is to go with a friend on his boat; be generous with gas money and help him clean it up when you’re done.
