I miss listening to records

When we moved, wife repeatedly tried to get me to toss my vinyl (cassettes and cd's). I had gotten rid of Technics tower, speakers, etc. I still have all of them- late 70' to early 90's. Will likely get a turntable and good headset and enjoy them again.

Did anyone else shop at Turtles?
Still using a stereo I bought in 1978. I used it a lot then and still use it regularly now. And it's an 8 track player as well. Also have an old cassette player adapter for it
Growing up outside of Boston, we had Strawberries, The Coop and Newbury Comics as the go to stores
Yep and Record Bar. I know there were others. Back in the day if you wore out a cassette, they would replace it for free. I did have certain ones that got replaced
My grandson lives in Medford. When I visit we always shop for vinyl at Newbury Comics.
Gots some rare Hank-Hank Jr early records. Gots some Patsy, Loretta,Jim Reeves, Charlie Brown Christmas even some very early Jimmy Buffet. All handed down and I love em.
