Cause you're a ramblin gamblin manI remember Live Bullet. And parts of it still hold up. I'm not even a Seger fan but Travelin Man/Beautiful Loser is one of my favorites.

I grew up in Macon and let me tell you...the tall tales bull**** and straight up lies about Gregg, Duane and the rest were plentiful to say the least. Funny thing though, I've heard these songs and albums since I can remember. But I went to 7th grade at Clisby Elementary on Vineville Ave. Up until a few years ago I never realized that "The Big House" was right across the street. It's the AB museum now.
I don't buy them but I still have some and listen to them.Who the **** buys cd's.
Maybe the best Florida rock band. Them or Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. What's the best Georgia band? Black Crowes maybe. But REM probably takes all the titles.I grew up in Macon and let me tell you...the tall tales bull**** and straight up lies about Gregg, Duane and the rest were plentiful to say the least. I understand keeping memories alive and all but damn! I guess it's because Macon has absolutely nothing else going for it but they STILL to this day milk everything they can out of the whole Allman Brothers and Otis Redding connection. To the point that it's pathetic and embarrassing.
So much to cover here. I like Tom Petty for the most part. Best one is probably Rebels . " Honey don't walk out I'm too drunk to follow..." And his role as Lucky on King of the Hill was perfect.Maybe the best Florida rock band. Them or Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. What's the best Georgia band? Black Crowes maybe. This is from Waiting for the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago. I knew as soon as I saw all that delicious Beane...I mean Mexican food.
I get Hard to Handle. They loved Otis Redding. The fact it took off like it did was beyond them. Really love that there was badass Southern rock when grunge was becoming prominent. Just a throwback sound. So much to cover here. I like Tom Petty for the most part. Best one is probably Rebels . " Honey don't walk out I'm too drunk to follow..." As for REM I was just listening to Driver 8 and Fall on Me earlier today. I dig that early REM when they were on IRS Records. But then they signed with Warner Brothers around 87 making more ****ing money than anyone before them and the music went to ****. I told my daughter today while we were listening to it that " This was REM before they got all preachy". Then I realized they were always preachy libtards.
Black Crowes...I LOVE Seeing Things from the first album and I love most of the Southern Harmony and Musical Companion album. Seriously Thorn in My Pride and Bad Luck Blue Eyes are among my favorites. Meanwhile... Hard to Handle is one of my top 10 most hated songs EVER. Seriously that song is worse than Blinded by the Light and Come Together combined.
