If you have an online shipping account with UPS it's no hassle at all ... you just print the label and arrange a pickup. Otherwise though it's tedious because UPS stores don't accept the shipments because they aren't actually UPS properties. You would have to find a distribution center.

I shipped a handgun to an FFL in NC through CHerokee a couple of weeks ago and they charged $20 even, they packed it and shipped it for me. I might have been able to save a few bucks by trying to ship myself but I don't think it is worth the hassle.
