Are you meaning an app that sends you alerts when Flea Market threads are posted or updated based on a set of filters you apply? Like location, key words, section, etc? That is not a very trivial task really, I am no iPhone developer but people pay quite a bit to get apps like that built and hosted by Apple.

i guess what i would want is something that notified me of pm's, maybe even something that notified me of new posts that fit into a certain parameter's

could be an app that isolates the classifieds as the only viewable info?

If it's not possible then so be it just an idea i had after using my wife's phone last night to respond to a pm. (i was to lazy to get up and go down stairs to the comp.)
