Also welcome to the sickness . I doubt I'll ever buy regular guns again. I sold all the ones I don't use .

The m16 lowers are great as right now uppers are cheap. You can shoot the crap out of it and not worry. I'm sure you have anti drift pins as to protect the lower .

We need to have an ODT machine gun shoot.

Congrats. It's an investment you can't lose on. Both the machine guns I bought cost me dearly . Sacrificed a lot to make it happen. Worth it .

Like you I mapped out what I wanted. I started with two sub guns. Once my Uzi is approved I'll be looking for a 5.56 full auto.

I've followed the mkt for quite a while. You've made two excellent decisions, IMO. For me, my plan was to get the M16 and Uzi in whatever order. I went with what I could get the best deal on at the time. When the dust settles on this, I'll be looking for an Uzi.

I've followed the mkt for quite a while. You've made two excellent decisions, IMO. For me, my plan was to get the M16 and Uzi in whatever order. I went with what I could get the best deal on at the time. When the dust settles on this, I'll be looking for an Uzi.

Once I get mine we can link up so you can try it before you buy it . I like the options you can buy for the Uzi. Already have an rmr top cover mount and an extra barrel ready to be threaded . Should be fun.

The sten is what it is but it's fun to shoot. I like how easy it breaks down as it fits in my range bag.

I could easily sell both my machine guns for more than I paid. That's now. Later in life I know I can get even more except I can enjoy my investment until that time.

That'd be awesome. Yea, I love how the Uzi has a ton of options and parts availability. I think for the value, it's the best subgun on the mkt. Plus, they're built like tanks. The Stens are great and a helluva lot of fun to shoot.

It is a sickness. My buddy got me hooked with his 1927 Thompson and WW2 M3 Greaser a few years back. He's a gun guy, but more specifically, a machine gun guy. That's all he buys.

The RVN AK would be pretty ultimate. I am really wanting a STG at some point, but it's totally impractical.

So your wife must already have a big old engagement ring,diamond earrings, new counter tops, new living room furniture and a late model SUV? I mean how else can a married guy get away with spending that kinda cash on one gun? Seriously, more than a few times I've shown my wife ads on here and on Gunbroker for transferable MGs everything from M16 lowers to Macs. She always goes " Is that THOUSANDS?!" And I go "Yes, THOUSANDS PLURAL!" Which is always followed by "Keep dreaming."

I showed my better half a spreadsheet I put together showing how the value of machine guns goes up every year . Once she saw that potentially she could be sitting on a retirement plan.... She felt it was a sound decision. Plus once she realized you just hold down the trigger she realized how fun they are

Well again congrats. I am compressed and envious. The explaining the investment angle is where you'd lose most women and some men. It's just tough to get some people to realize that something as seemingly trivial as a serial number and production date makes ALL the difference in the world.

Right now my landlord is sweating a 70 Chevelle 454 that's for sale locally for $19,500. If it's the real thing that's a killer deal. Probably about $10K low. But he broke out the Old Car Values book and tried explaining the investment angle to his wife. Bad move. Sometimes you just gotta make the deal and take the heat.
