Train him to come in and pose for a pic in your living room next to the fireplace.

Deer are smart. They know what to be afraid of…A lawn mower, tractor, etc becomes normal and poses no threat, so they don’t mind. Same with you and your back door. LOL

I had a fully domesticated deer that lived approximately 14 years, wore a collar, and neighbors literally walked in through their house to their back yard to play with donkeys and dogs.
Nor recently I had a doe that would bring her babies around when I called her and nearly eat out of my hand.
Hoping this buck is alright
