As I mentioned in the previous post PSA has Norma for 39 bucks I ordered several boxes of. I didn't want burn up 45 dollar s box Hornady match ammo up for barrel break in and zero. The price doesn't really bother me but I just had to post that one box. I can't imagine how they come up with that price. I also wonder if they sell any of it or how much if they do.

But, we can always flood Federal with emails letting them know a little bit about you. They'll be sending you free ammo and making you Captain of the Custom Shop Exhibition Team.

How do you go about breaking in a new barrel?

How do you go about breaking in a new barrel?

One shot and clean for 10 rounds. Then 2 shots and clean for 10 more. There are as many ways to go about it than I can count but I got that from another barrel manufacturer and just rolled with that one. I make sure the barrel is really clean after each shot.

Ive done barrel break in per manufacture and I’ve just went and shot the damn thing. I could never tell a difference in accuracy.

It’s for Federal custom shop ammo. There are plenty of less expensive alternatives available.

Don't you load? That's where you'll get the most out of that rifle. That's what you built it for. You spent the money, good ammo is part of that. Now to say what I wanted to say.......You can't hide money......
