I wouldn't sell any ARs or AKs right now.

I'm not following you here.
Let me put it to you like this.
My 7th grade year in middle school there was a "race war". Basically it was months of fights between whites, blacks, and Mexicans. It led to an all out brawl in the gym one morning with about 10 cops showing up escorting kids out in handcuffs. One black girl got a wooden paddle and beat the **** out of a group of Mexican girls. My graduating class only had 90 people in it.

This was in a podunk town of 20k. Now imagine an inner city or metropolitan school with over 1k students and the ability to go buy a handgun. It would be a warzone.

Sounds like what the left is pushing in general. Remove the middle school reference and voila! You are Beto!

My high school had that every year from 84 to 88. Southwest High School in south Macon. Lots of kids from the projects. But there were over 3500 of us at any one time. And yes there were guns and knives and then later tear gas involved. And that was teenagers in 1984 to 1988. So I don't see what's different aside from immediate gratification media and electronics.
Earlier you mentioned absent fathers and that IS an issue. But it's not a new or even recent issue. Hell, there's an Elvis tune about it called "In the Ghetto".
I want to agree with you that "Kids Today" aint worth a damn and only live for instant fame and wealth. But that's a generic blanket statement that's kinda unfair. My landlord has a nephew who is mid 20s that was home schooled in NC . He went to Paris Island about 10 years ago. Then he went to Afghanistan for a while. Then back to Paris Island as a drill instructor. Now he's assigned to Marine One on the Presidential Detail. That kid has WAY more motivation and follow through than I ever did. So I can say I know at least one good millenial. And I'm sure other guys here could provide similar examples.
Again, I want to agree with you since there are so many fine examples of POS young people. But it's not as bad as you/we might think.

Why are we talking about 13 Year olds? They can't buy guns under federal law and that's not going to change.

18 year olds, however, are considered adults and should have every 2nd amendment right that you and I do. Drawing up an "assault weapons ban" on them will change nothing, and just be conceding that bans of certain types of guns work.

How hard do you think it is to kill children locked in a classroom for 45 minutes? You could do it with any type of gun. The Virginia tech shooter killed over 20 with a Glock I believe.

I'm not for giving a single inch to those who want to go all the way to complete confiscation, that's who you're dealing with here.

But go on with your strawman wHaT aBoUt a tHirTeEn YeAr oLd.

Because you said 13yo should be able to buy them.

Well Beto is back on the news now. I'm sure he is just reeling...SMH!!! What a sad day in The United States. Let your guard down (door unlocked) and evil enters. Social media posts were made and no one said or did anything? There were opportunities to stop this tragedy in its tracks and nothing was done. The warnings fell on the deaf ears of the "Social Media Police" who work tirelessly banning people for preaching truth that doesn't fit their narrative. What have we collectively become?
